Celebrating the Irish, Superheroes and Harry Potter

The next Altoona Curve home stand is packed with fun things for the whole family! Celebrate all the Irish, Superheroes and Harry Potter as part of the next home stand!

The Curve’s push for a spot in the Eastern League playoffs continues tonight as they welcome the Trenton Thunder for a four game series. It’s Irish Night and Thrivent night at the Ballpark. Friday you’ll get a mystery bobble on Mystery Night. Fans can buy additional bobbles for $15 or trade their for $10. All proceeds go towards Sheetz for the Kids. First pitch is set for 7:00 pm Thursday and Friday while both Saturday and Sunday’s games begin at 6:00 pm.

The home stand will end with a four game series against the Erie SeaWolves beginning Monday, July 31 through Thursday, August 3 with all games starting at 7:00 pm. Monday is a Free Curve Kids Club Game, while Tuesday is Superhero Night with an appearance from Super Why. The first 500 fans 12 and younger will receive a cape. There will also be statues of Spider Man, Iron Man, and life-size ones of Batman and Harley Quinn to take photos with. Wednesday is Harry Potter Night, and the series wraps up an appearance from the Cowboy Monkey Rodeo.

Tickets are on sale now for each of the remaining Curve home games, and you can reserve your seats for all the action by calling 877-99-CURVE (877-992-8189), online or at the Peoples Natural Gas Field Box Office! The box office is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, and on game days from 9:00 am until game time.
